How to get "Hard Bread or Cookies" soft again

By Clyde Sherman of shermtheworm

Hey Qassia family.....

Hot tip of the day is from the kitchen...

Ok..Say you have a Sandwich roll or Bun or and type of bread product other than a slice of bread. The slice of bread has enzymes in it...Those enzymes keep the bread soft for days...Well the rolls and cookies that you may bake yourself do not have these enzymes in them...If you want to get that roll, bun or cookie to become soft again you can do the following things.

You can either place the baked product into the plastic bag that the loaf of sliced bread is in and re reseal the bag.

Or you could take a couple slices of bread out and place the two or three slices in a bag full of the baked products you would like to make soft again...It takes about 24 hours for it to work...So do not throw away that hard roll or Sour Dough dinner roll...If you would like to make it soft again just place it in a plastic bag with a slice of bread...Cookies come back soft also...

I do not think it works if the bread has been microwaved...
